Quarterfinals

June 13, 2024

10:00 a.m. - 8:30 p.m.

Up to eighteen invited candidates will perform their complete piano concerto (or similar work for piano & orchestra) with a collaborative pianist who performs the orchestral reduction. This page will be updated with details of performer, performance time, and repertoire, on June 12th after the drawing lots.

Quarterfinals and semifinals are free and open to the public. Quarterfinal results will be announced from the Winspear stage shortly after the conclusion of the round.

Free parking available in the E20 lot near the main entrance. This lot will not be ticketed during competition events.

Semifinals

June 14, 2024

10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Up to nine candidates advancing from Round 1 will perform their entire 30-minute solo recital program, without interruption. This page will be updated with details of performer, performance time, and repertoire, on the evening of June 13th, after the announcement of quarterfinal results. 

Quarterfinals and semifinals are free and open to the public. Semifinal results will be announced from the Winspear stage shortly after the conclusion of the round.

June 18, 2024

7:00 p.m. | Moody Performance Hall

Three candidates advancing from Round 2 will be invited to perform their entire piano concerto with the Dallas Chamber Symphony at Moody Performance Hall, located in the Dallas Arts District. This page will be updated with details of performer, performance time, and repertoire, on the evening of June 14th, after the announcement of semifinal results.
