Biography

Born and raised in Seoul, South Korea, Yuri Noh began her musical studies on the piano at the age of five. Ms. Noh has been the top prizewinner of numerous international and national competitions, including the Silver Medal at the Louisiana International Piano Competition and the first prize at Mieczyslaw Munz Piano Competition, Cleveland Institute of Music Concerto Competition, Busan MBC Music Competition, Korea Times Music Competition, Samick-Seiler piano Competition, and Seoul National University Concerto Competition. Ms. Noh has also appeared as a soloist with a number of orchestras, including Rapides Symphony Orchestra, Cleveland Institute of Music Orchestra, Bucheon Philharmonic Orchestra, Busan Philharmonic Orchestra, Seoul National University Orchestra and Prime Philharmonic Orchestra. In addition, Ms. Noh has performed at the prestigious concert venues in Korea, United States, Austria, and Italy, some of which include Severance Hall, Steinway Hall, Harvard Club of New York, Kumho Art Hall, and Sejong Center for Performing Center. Recently, her Bartok Concerto No. 3 was broadcast by WCLV 104.9, and she appeared on the “First Friday Show” of WCLV 104.9. Ms. Noh is also an active chamber musician. Her chamber group, Autana Trio, received the Bronze Medal at the 2015 Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition and has performed throughout the United States. Ms. Noh finished her Bachelor with top honors at Seoul National University. And she moved to United States and completed her Master’s Degree and Professional Studies as the President’s Scholarship and Roy Rubinstein Award Student at Manhattan School of Music.
