Yibing Zhang

Yibing Zhang Began studying piano at the age of three in his native China. In 2008, he won third prize in the China Central Television Cup Piano Competition and performed with renowned violinist Mr.Sheng Zhongguo in a new year ’s concert at the Chinese National Center for Performing Arts. Also in 2008, he appeared with the China Philharmonic Orchestra. After completing a Bachelor’s Degree at the prestigious Central Conservatory in Beijing and a Master’s Degree at New England Conservatory, Mr. Zhang is pursuing a graduate artist certificate at the University of North Texas College of Music, with a teaching fellow award. In Spring 2015, he won second prize in the Young Texas Artist Competition.
