Biography

Born and raised in San Diego, Rossina’s musical journey began at the tender age of four, studying the Ugorski heritage. By the time she was eight, she made history as the youngest pianist to perform on stage with the San Diego Symphony at Copley Hall, captivating a sold-out audience. This groundbreaking achievement marked the start of her exceptional career. Critics hailed her as a musical prodigy, with many describing her skill as “well beyond her years” and praising her ability to elicit standing ovations.

Her early success led to her acceptance at the prestigious Juilliard School of Music in her teens. At Juilliard, Rossina’s virtuosic talent shone through in renowned venues like Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall, where her performance of Chopin’s First Piano Concerto was met with rapturous applause. Her artistry has since taken her on extensive tours across Europe and Asia, where she continues to captivate audiences and critics with her technical prowess and expressive performances. Rossina has also been a finalist in several prestigious competitions, including the Los Angeles Philharmonic’s Bronislaw Kaper Awards and Young Concert Artists, among others.

In addition to her musical achievements, Rossina’s heritage—Italian and Shanghainese—enriches her artistry. Fluent in Mandarin, she draws from a diverse cultural perspective, which deeply informs her expressive musical style. At 16, she was accepted into the top 1% of auditions for the Shanghai Theatre Academy, one of Asia’s premier institutions for film and theatre. Her immersion in the dramatic arts has further refined her stage presence, which is both captivating and transcendent.

Mentored by some of the most esteemed figures in music, Rossina’s continued rise has been marked by notable awards. She made history as the longest-serving recipient, the first biracial American, and the only female to win the prestigious Ihnatowycz Prize in Piano at the Glenn Gould School, cementing her place in the music world. Rossina’s discography boasts eight critically acclaimed albums, and with nearly 1.7 million social media followers, she is not only an accomplished performer but also a prominent style influencer, collaborating with top brands such as Jenny Packham and Steinway & Sons.
