Biography

Pianist Lucas Amory is currently pursuing his Masters in Piano Performance at the Juilliard School in the studio of Julian Martin, having previously studied in the Harvard-New England Conservatory dual degree program under Hae-Sun Paik while graduating with the Robert D. Levin Prize and a double degree in German and Music. The first prize winner of the PianoArts 2024 North American Competition and 2022 Harvard Concerto Competition, Lucas has also collaborated with many esteemed artists including Matt Aucoin and the American Modern Opera Company, Bruce Adolphe, Nico Muhly, and Claire Chase. He is a dedicated chamber musician, having attended the Taos School of Music, the Ravinia Steans Music Institute, and as part of the Juilliard Honors Chamber Music Program from 2024-5. Lucas’ other musical pursuits have included conducting, singing baritone, film scoring, musical theater, and opera.
