Up to eighteen pre-selected candidates will perform their complete piano concerto (or similar work for piano & orchestra) with a collaborative pianist who performs the orchestral reduction.

Quarterfinals and semifinals are open to the public and free to attend. Quarterfinal results will be announced shortly after the conclusion of the round.

Semifinals

10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Up to nine candidates advancing from Round 1 will perform their entire 30-minute solo recital program without interruption.

Quarterfinals and semifinals are open to the public and free to attend. Semifinal results will be announced shortly after the conclusion of the round.

Masterclasses

3:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Pre-selected participants will perform a brief solo program and receive instruction on stage from competition jurors.

Masterclasses are open to the public and free to observe.

Finals

7:00 p.m. | Moody Performance Hall

Three candidates advancing from Round 2 will be invited to perform their entire piano concerto with the Dallas Chamber Symphony at Moody Performance Hall in the Dallas Arts District. This page will be updated with details of performer, performance time, and repertoire, on the evening of June TBA, 2028 after the announcement of semifinal results.
